On Sunday, I met Rick at one of my favourite establishments in mid-afternoon and who should I find there, but my new found ex-cop friends, Glen and his silent friend, (who is so silent that I have yet to learn his name). They were sitting in a group, with nary a tid-bit of young, brown, girlie arse in sight; the poor things were totally bereft of female company, but as soon as I arrived they all seemed to come out of the woodwork. I have to say that in all my years of whore-mongering, I have never once been tracked down to such establishments by my wives, girlfriends or any other female who may have had some proprietary interest in my well-being, and therefore my whereabouts. I have always worked on the principal, which is embraced by 99% of Thai women, that no matter what your partner may suspect or even know that you get up to, never flaunt it in their face. I told her that I thought her drinks, at 120 Baht a pop, were extortionate for a place of such mundane calibre. She claimed ignorance on the price of her drinks and called over an older Thai woman – who I could only assume was the wife of one of the Brummy owners – a person no doubt of considerable authority! I repeated my complaint to her, in my very best Thai and all that I received by way of explanation was a mystified stare. I repeated my complaint – again in Thai and finally in English, in the unlikely event that the lady spoke no Thai, but I just continued to receive the same blank stare in return. It was probably the first time in her life that anyone had ever complained about the price of a drink and she was dumbstruck – literally. In the end I gave up and bought Annie a drink! (After a mental resolve to slow dow the rate of refills.) Well, who could resist her lovely little face, her beautiful, curvy body which was almost bursting out of the tight fitting red number with a hem line that barely covered her well-endowed bottom.
