I love Texas Haunted Houses
I have never been a fearful person. Even as a young child, I used to love sitting around the campfire and telling ghost stories. I played in cemeteries as a kid and loved night games as a teenager. Now that I am an adult, I still take any opportunity to give myself a scare. I try to instill this fun in my children by taking them to haunted forests, corn mazes and spook alleys. Sadly they are not as enthusiastic as I am.
Last week, my sister called an invited me to go on a tour of several different Texas haunted houses , and I jumped at the chance. We decided to hit Dallas, Fort Worth and Arlington. I have never had so much fun in my life. The great part about it was that they aren’t the staged haunted houses you see at Halloween, they are houses believed to have real ghosts living in them. I loved walking through these homes, and I almost felt as if I were being watched while in them. I heard tragic stories of murder and intrigue, and stories from modern people who had lived there and felt the ghosts presence. These Texas haunted houses gave me a better scare than I have ever experienced. Maybe because I felt like they were almost real.
