1st Annual Miracles For Life Youth Transplant Camp
Dear Parents or Guardians;
We would like to invite you and your teen or child to the 1st Annual Miracles for Life Youth Camp
for Organ and Tissue Transplants to be held at the Camp Joy Outdoor Educational Center in
Clarksville, OH on the weekend of September 11-13, 2009. 
This camp is offered to youths ages 7-17 who have received an organ or tissue transplant more than 12 months before the camp start date.
Campers will enjoy a fun-filled weekend of outdoor educational
activities where they can be a kid again and be inspired to be the greatest they can be.
Camp Activities
The campers will spend three-days, two-nights at the camp in a variety of activities that are designed to
help them develop their self image and sense of accomplishment. Activities are adapted to each person’s
abilities and promote the development of new friendships and individual growth. All camp activities are
supervised in a safe and nurturing environment.
Parent’s Day
Parents and guardians are invited to spend one-day at the camp in activities with other parents and
guardians designed to develop new friendships, support networks and techniques to deal with the
challenges each face as caregivers. (Sunday, September 13, 2009)
Example activities include:
Archery, arts & crafts, basketball, boating, campfires, fishing, music, nature trails, outdoor team building,
games, rope climbs, signing, skits, tower climbs and zip lines.
Motorcycle Ride for Life
Parents and guardians are also invited to participate in the Charity Motorcycle ride from Quaker Steak &
Lube in Milford, OH to the Camp on Sunday, September 13, 2009.
All funds from the ride and other public donations will enable Miracles for Life to pay the majority of the
cost of the camp; however, we ask that participating families pay a small $50.00 registration fee. (Some
scholarship will be available.)
If you are interested in having your teen, your child attend this unique camp you should mail completed
copies of the attached forms along with a $50.00 registration fee to the office of Miracles for Life at 1081-
B State Route 28 – Suite 237 – Milford, OH 45150 no later than August 30, 2009.
(Checks should be made payable to Miracles for Life Youth Camp 2009.)
